FAQ’s

Can I transport small equipment with a heavy hauler?

Heavy Haulers often look for smaller equipment if they have enough room on their trailers and our delivery or pickup is in that area. We always need a little extra money for fuel, and if we don’t have to deadhead too far for the small piece of equipment, we will accept the load.

Is it possible to transport oversized loads at night in Michigan?

Monday through Friday, time limits permits are only issued during daylight hours. During daylight hours, one-half hour before sunrise and one-half hour after sunset are considered daylight hours. There may be other time limitations in some cases.

When can oversize vehicles travel in Michigan?

There is a five-day validity period for Michigan oversize permits. It is necessary to obtain a permit before entering the state. OPERATING TIME: Sunrise to sunset. Weekend travel is now permitted on a trial basis for loads not exceeding ten ′ wide, 14′ high, and 90′ long.
