Transporting my car to or from Jacksonville

Jacksonville is located in northeastern Florida. It is part of Duval County. Jacksonville is nestled along the Atlantic Coast with beautiful beaches along its east coast. There are many factors that make Jacksonville unique. It is the largest city by area in the lower 48 states. In fact, Jacksonville is four times the size of Manhattan! Luckily, We Will Transport It covers all 875 square miles of Jacksonville. With the largest population in the southeastern United States, there is quite a bit of demand for car transport in and out of Jacksonville. There is a very active highway system throughout Jacksonville. The major interstates in Jacksonville are I-95 which runs north to south and I-10 which runs east and west. The major U.S. highways include: U.S. 1, U.S. 17, U.S. 90, and U.S. 301. These choices give our drivers plenty of options when planning their routes, which is helpful considering Jacksonville’s traffic has been said to be some of the worst in the United States. This is important to consider if your transport is time sensitive. We pick up and deliver to all six areas of Jacksonville: The beach, the Northside, the Westside, the Southside, Arlington and Downtown.

How to Get Started

Upon calling to get your quote there are a few vital pieces of information we will need.

  1. We will need the address including zip code for the pick up location and the delivery location.
  2. We will need the make and model of the vehicle. It is important to note any modifications that would alter the dimensions of the vehicle. (Examples would be: lifted vehicles, oversized tires, low-ground clearance etc.) These vehicles may require extra care loading and unloading and in some cases require an enclosed trailer.
  3. We will need to know the specific timeframe in which you need your vehicle moved. While we can never promise an exact time of pick up or drop off due to variables out of our control such as traffic and weather, we will do everything in our power to adhere to your timeframe.

Once this information is provided to us, within a matter of minutes we will be able to provide you with a reasonable quote. When coming up with a price, we consider things like the higher cost of fuel in some areas as well as any permits or escorts that may be required. We will send you a reservation form. Once this form is complete, our dispatchers will begin looking for the perfect driver to transport your vehicle. Usually within 48 hours your load will be assigned. Once this happens, our dispatch department will contact you letting you know the details for pickup and delivery.

How To Prepare Your Vehicle for Transport

Once you have booked your reservation with We Will Transport It, our representatives will provide you with the driver’s contact information. Along with the driver, you can always contact our dispatch department with any questions that you may have. We will be contacting you throughout the process with updates on the driver’s status as well. Remember to remove any valuables and personal effects from the vehicle. If you have a SunPass or an E-ZPass for tollways, we recommend you remove them as well. Before your vehicle is picked up, we recommend confirming that the insurance policy in place covers the value of your vehicle. We require our drivers to be fully insured based on the state’s federal regulations. Upon placing your reservation, double check that your vehicle will be 100% covered.

Daniel needed to move his Dodge Ram from Las Vegas, NV 89103 to Jacksonville, FL 32034. The customer had tried three different companies and no one could get it moved for him. After finding out that the truck had a seven inch lift and oversize tires, we knew what the problem was. This truck could not go on a regular car carrier because of the height with the lift and the oversize tires.

Once he signed with us, we were able to get a hotshot trailer with ramps, which usually only takes heavy equipment, but because the trucks were over seven feet high, it was our best option.
