We Will Transport It has been hauling heavy equipment in and out of Seattle, Washington for over 15 years. We know Alaskan Way, the SODO corridor, the SR-99 tunnel clearances, and the I-5 approach restrictions near the ship canal. We are fully insured, fully permitted, and ready for every load, from a single excavator to a multi-piece crane, with the safest and most reliable expert drivers.
Seattle is the gateway to the Pacific. The Port of Seattle and Port of Tacoma together form the Northwest Seaport Alliance, one of the busiest container gateway ports on the West Coast, connecting the Pacific Northwest to Asia, Alaska, and markets all across North America. The region’s aerospace industry, anchored by Boeing’s manufacturing facilities in Everett, Renton, and Auburn, generates constant demand for industrial and support equipment. And a multi-billion-dollar urban buildout, spanning transit infrastructure, waterfront transformation, and private development, is keeping construction sites active across the metro.
We hold all required permits and insurance and have successfully transported heavy machinery of every type to and from Seattle, WA.
Seattle is not a city that coasts. Amazon, Microsoft, Boeing, Costco, and a sprawling technology and life sciences sector have driven two decades of sustained growth, and the physical infrastructure of the city is still catching up. A wave of major construction and transit projects is reshaping the urban core, and every one of those sites demands equipment.
Seattle’s active construction pipeline covers the city in every direction. The $4 billion-plus Elliott Bay Waterfront transformation completed its central 20-acre Waterfront Park in September 2025, the largest civic investment since the 1962 World’s Fair, replacing the footprint of the demolished Alaskan Way Viaduct with parks, promenades, pedestrian bridges, a rebuilt pier, and 17 blocks of new surface street connecting Pioneer Square to Belltown. The adjacent $45 million Elliott Bay Connections project, funded by private philanthropy, added a new greenway and revitalized Myrtle Edwards and Centennial Parks ahead of Seattle’s hosting of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Sound Transit’s light rail expansion, one of the most ambitious in the country, completed the Federal Way extension in December 2025, opened the full East Link across Lake Washington in March 2026, and continues construction on the West Seattle Link Extension and a new Pinehurst infill station on the 1 Line. At Seattle Center, demolition and reconstruction of Memorial Stadium broke ground in summer 2025 in a public-private partnership between Seattle Public Schools, the City of Seattle, and the One Roof Stadium Partnership, a consortium that includes the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena. The new 8,000-capacity multi-purpose stadium, managed by Sellen Construction, is on track for a 2027 completion. And in the Denny Triangle, the Aero1200 development at 1200 Stewart Street is heading toward its 2027 opening: two 48-story residential towers housing 927 apartments and a 121-room hotel, connected by a three-story galleria with a full Boeing 747 fuselage suspended 14 feet above the walkway. The 747, tail number N178UA, was cut into 39 sections, trucked from a California boneyard, and reassembled inside the building’s structural frame. It is, without question, the most unusual construction project in Seattle’s recent history.
Every one of those job sites requires heavy equipment. Getting that equipment there is what We Will Transport It does.

The sector that deals with the conveyance of large machinery in Seattle, WA is tasked with relocating hefty and substantial equipment from one location to another. This form of transportation service varies from regular freight shipping and requires specific knowledge, machinery, and authorizations. Specialized transport trailers are crucial in Seattle, WA for safely transporting heavy equipment.
Seattle’s road network puts real constraints on heavy haulers that do not apply in flatter, less congested markets. The SR-99 tunnel, completed in 2019 to replace the Alaskan Way Viaduct, has height restrictions that make it unsuitable for oversize loads. I-5 through downtown runs elevated through a narrow urban corridor with limited staging areas and complex on and off-ramp geometry. The SODO industrial district, primary access point for the Port of Seattle’s terminal operations, sees constant heavy freight traffic that demands coordination and timing awareness. And Seattle’s hills create grade and maneuverability challenges for long or heavy combinations that require advance route scouting.
We Will Transport It plans every Seattle move with those constraints accounted for before the truck leaves the yard. We know which corridors accept permitted oversized loads, which crossings require escort vehicles, and how to coordinate delivery timing for active downtown construction sites where street access is shared with ongoing project work.
Our services include:
Washington State is one of the most agriculturally productive states in the country. The Columbia Basin, Yakima Valley, and Skagit Flats produce apples, hops, potatoes, berries, wheat, and wine grapes at commercial scale, and the equipment that supports those operations moves through the Seattle market regularly. We transport combines, sprayers, planters, and specialty harvest machinery across Washington state, matching each piece to the right trailer and routing it efficiently from dealer to farm or farm to service yard.
Standard flatbed transport handles the majority of heavy equipment moves in the Seattle area, with capacity up to 48,000 pounds. For taller or heavier loads, we move to step decks, lowboys, or RGNs. For equipment moving through the Port of Seattle or Port of Tacoma on international shipments, we coordinate Ro-Ro and flat-rack container logistics as well.
